HeadBox is a competitive third-person arena shooter. You drop into an arena, survive, and climb your way up the board. The game is currently in development, and we are building it in the open with the community. The waitlist is open now; Founder Access, an upcoming paid subscription, is planned as the way to play during development, and HeadBox is planned to be free to play at full public launch.

Not yet. Joining the waitlist is free. During development, HeadBox is planned to be available through Founder Access, a paid subscription that will be purchased in the game and billed through Xsolla. Select Join Waitlist anywhere on the site, enter your email address, and confirm it. We will let you know as soon as your access opens up.

Create your account from the waitlist page and choose your username there. Names are reserved in the order accounts are created, so signing up earlier means more choice.

HeadBox is not playable yet. Join the waitlist and we will let you know when Founder Access opens. Access is planned to open in waves rather than all at once, so we can keep the servers stable — the Roadmap shows which stage we are at.

Use Contact Support at the bottom of this page, or post in our Discord. A screenshot, the device and browser you were using, and the steps that led to the problem all help us reproduce it quickly.

Join the waitlist, and once Founder Access launches as a paid subscription in the game, that will be the way to play during development. Patreon is an optional, additional way to support the project — it is not required for the waitlist or for Founder Access. Sharing the game and sending us honest feedback helps just as much.
